European Cultural Festival

Come to the 5th annual European Cultural Festival (formerly Renaissance Day)!

Learn about the cultures from the European countries through dancing, music, & battling knights.

Be thrilled by the fighting knights from the Salt Lake Crusaders as they battle it out right in front of your eyes.

Entertainment includes: Scottish & Irish Bagpipes, Irish dancing, Spanish Flamenco dancing, Alps (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Old World & Contemporary Folk Music.

Stop by the University Place booth for a yummy deal provided by Midici (limit 1 per group, while supplies last).

Come dressed in your traditional European outfits for our costume contest.

Kids can explore and play on the Pirate Ship which will make berth in The Orchard.

Stage Schedule:

5:10 PM – Heathen Highlanders Bagpipes (Scotland & Ireland)

5:30 PM – Harp Irish Dance Company (Ireland)

6:00 PM – Costume Contest

6:30 PM – Salzburger Echo – Includes 12′ long alphorns, Swiss cowbells and yodeling (Germany, Austria & Switzerland)

7:15 PM – Flamenco del Lago (Spain)

7:45 PM – Meet and take photos with the Fighting Knights to figure out who you want to root for

8:15 PM – Salt Lake Crusaders battle (All of Europe)
