Everyday more and more progress is being made on The Orchard and outdoor kids play area. Concrete has been laid for the outdoor kid’s play area, soon to be covered with a rubber surface. Equipment has been installed in the choreographed show fountain and songs are being programmed for the water and light shows.

Indoor Children’s Play Area: Family Restrooms
The walls are painted and the tile is up in our family restrooms and mother’s room that will be located in the indoor children’s play area. Each private restroom has a children’s height sink and toilet, and the mothers room has comfortable seating, a sink and a diaper changing area.
The artwork on the tiles is a collaboration with the Alpine School District.
New Street: Park Avenue
Orem has a Park Avenue! The new street splits through the University Place campus, connecting State Street and 800 East. The south side of Park Avenue provides curbside access to The Orchard, and the north side will provide access to the future office park.
Office: 545 University Place Completed
545 University Place is complete and tenants are settling in. NorthStar, a home security and automation company, has moved into the 5th floor. Vivo Offices, which provides one to four person offices that are fully serviced with phone, internet, conference space, reception areas and a co-working café, will be moving into the 2nd floor. The Orchard Updates
Progress is being made on The Orchard, an outdoor green space nearly the size of two football fields. We’ve started construction on an amphitheater where parents can sit and watch their kids scramble up the rock climbing wall, and the foundation has been laid for the choreographed water fountain that will shoot water and light up to some of your favorite songs.
This will be a place where you can relax by the water fountain, have a picnic lunch on the lawn, or watch the kids run around and play chase. The Orchard will be completed by the end of the summer.
Indoor Children’s Play Area
Work has begun on the indoors children’s play area. Skylights will provide plenty of sunshine to the play area, which will include two tree houses, climbing logs, animal sculptures and more. When the weather is warm, two large garage doors will open up to connect the indoor play area with the outdoor, fenced play area.

The Orchard is an outdoor park-like area nearly the size of two football fields. The Orchard will have an outdoor stage, choreographed water fountain, and indoor and outdoor children’s play area, and plenty of open green grass! Scheduled for completion at the end of this summer, The Orchard will be packed with events year round.
The Aston at University Place: Buildings B & D
Building B will be open July 2016, with 103 units available ranging from studio apartments to three bedroom apartments. Building D will be completed in 2017.
Connector Road
Scheduled for completion in June of 2016, this new road will connect State Street to 800 North and alleviate traffic on University Parkway. This will be the main access road to future office buildings and the new North Entrance of the shopping.
