About Clog America

Celebrating its 30Th Anniversary, Clog America represents the United States as Ambassadors of Goodwill at prestigious International Folk Festivals throughout the world.  The Ensemble arranges a Humanitarian aspect of their tour each year, by performing and supporting, various centers and orphanages.  The Humanitarian visit is often the highlight of their tour.

The Pandemic interruption over this past year has been disappointing, cancelling tours in 2020 and in 2021.  This has not stopped the ensemble, as they will be returning to Europe in 2022.  This summer, however, a smaller contingent group of Clog America will be attending the World Wide Folkloriada Festival in Ufa, Russia.  Since Clog America will be the only Americans allowed in Russia, a special agreement has been reached with the Russian Embassy for this special Festival and allowing the Americans to attend.  They depart June 30th and return July 11th.

This opportunity for Clog America to collaborate with University Place and the Freedom Festival is an exciting opportunity to bring families to the park and provide wholesome educational entertainment for the community.  Bring your blankets & chairs and come see the exciting Clog America show that tells the story of America’s Folk Dance history.
